Christina Aguilera was arrested early this morning along with her boyfriend in West Hollywood, TMZ has learned. Christina was popped for public intoxication and her boyfriend was arrested for driving under the influence.
Cops say … Aguilera was a passenger in a car driven by Matthew Rutler when officers noticed he was driving erratically around 2:45 AM … so they pulled the vehicle over.
Officers determined Rutler was drunk and arrested him for misdemeanor DUI.
Cops say the deputies determined Aguilera was also “extremely intoxicated” … and since she was unable to care for herself, Aguilera was taken into custody.
Aguilera was booked for public intoxication — and according to the booking sheet, she was listed at 5’2″ and 100 lbs.
According to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, Rutler’s bail was set at $30,000.
However, the source adds, “If the driver had NOT been arrested for DUI, [Christina] would have never been in trouble.”
Sources close to Xtina tell us they have been trying to get the singer into a rehab program for weeks.

I know this chick did not post that damn bail!!! I am so disappointed and angry right now. This better be a wake up call. Drop the scumbag at the curb, because she just gave everything needed to get her son taken away from her!!! I have no words, she was always the most responsible out of all her peers she was compared with and since this douche bag has been in the picture she is trying to keep up with Brit and Lohan.. My god!! She needs to focus. I notice it seems like she has no friends where the hell is her family and friends, maybe this is why she is so dependent on guys and can’t be single.. As I fan, I know that Christina loves to party but it does not help when her bad influence and scum of a boyfriend is totally taking advantage of her and is living it up like a superstar! By far I believe that Jordan was the perfect mate for her because it seems she got her head on her shoulders when they were together. And we all know how much her mother means to her and if they supposedly had a huge argument and Christina isn’t listening to her then I am lost for words. If I’m not mistaken didn’t she suffer from depression? And with all that has happened to her lately I can understand that she wants to unwind a little but I seriously hope this situation will wake her up and not get any worse.
