International pop superstar and notable THE VOICE judge Christina Aguilera seems set to be essaying one of the most iconic musical theatre roles of all time according to a new report confirming her casting in a new Broadway-themed film experience called BROADWAY 4D.
Reportedly, Aguilera will perform the legendary “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina” from the memorable Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice EVITA score as part of the new film.
Of note, a casting notice recently went out for BROADWAY 4D seeking the following, “Seeking SAG-AFTRA Character Types (18+ years old) to Portray Argentinians for the upcoming “Broadway 4D.” This will shoot on 4/16 & 4/17, fittings will take place sometime between 3/31-4/4 (date TBD). You MUST be available for the work date and have open availability for a fitting next week. Men must be comfortable having hair cut in 1940’s Argentina period style.”

Additionally, Hugh Jackman has been spotted on set already reprising his OKLAHOMA! lead role to croon “Oh! What A Beautiful Morning” from the classic Rodgers & Hammerstein score.
Also, Matthew Morrison and Sierra Boggess have been rumored to feature in the new film, as well.
BROADWAY 4D is currently in production and expected to be released in 2015.
