I just returned from the taping of this show, June 14th, and all I can say is WOW! I was one of the winners from RCA who got tickets to attend a live taping of the show and by some miracle was seated right behind Christina’s chair!!!! Of course, she wasnt facing me since the blind auditions were done, but it was still awesome to sit only about 20 feet from her (only a camera man in between us) I only wish they allowed cameras/phones so i could share some photos of it, but it was strictly not allowed, but if you want to ask me any questions,I would be happy to share my experience with anyone who is unable to attend. All I can say at the moment while I am still getting over my shock of being there is that the show is 10 thousand times better live (if you can imagine it) especially seeing what goes on during commercials and off camera, etc.
Keep in mind, if you get a chance to attend…1. No, you dont get to meet Christina2. No, you cannot bring a camera or phone3. Yes the show is live and the coaches are ad libbing (the only part that’s pretaped is the rehearsal)4. Yes, it was 2 hours long and very hot and you dont get any break, even during commercial.
