Christina Aguilera has something to be happy about, or maybe not, despite the bad luck she’s been having lately. She should be relieved because her divorce from Jordan Bratman has been finalized. The ruling came out on Tuesday. However, as the law goes, divorce will take effect six months after the original filing, which will be on April 15.
The two had a prenuptial agreement so there’s no problem with splitting their assets and properties. But there are reports that Bratman got “something extra” as well. They have also settled custody of their three-year-old son Max.
Well by April 15, their 5 years of marriage will be just another statistics. Not that Christina would be too unhappy; she has a new love life now with Matthew Rutler from her film “Burlesque.”Besides this divorce, there’s a negative buzz about Chrsitina and the supposed “snub” that she did to Canadian rocker Avril Lavigne. During an interview with ITV2 after the Brit Awards, Aril revealed that Christina was mean to her when she introduced herself.
Avril said that since they share the same record label and manager she thought of going over to introduce herself. She said, “Hi, we kinda do the same thing,” but the only response she got was a sort of mocking laugh.
