Looks like it was time to pull out the hydrogen peroxide bottle! Christina Aguilera is back on the music scene prepping for her fourth album. Word is she is headed back in the studio next week, teaming up again with DJ Premier, who worked on her less-than-great third album “Back to Basics.”

She is apparently matching wits with some of music’s biggest creative cats like my favorite soul-pop-diva Sia. Recently, Sia shared a little about the album on her Twitter, tweeting, “the new christina aguilera album sounds sooper dooper. How’s the little guy? Does he say any words yet?
He’s absorbing everything like a sponge right now. We have to be cautious what we’re saying around him! He’s speaking a little Spanish too. He said mama and papa months ago. Vacuum was one of his first words! He has a cleaning fetish and he loves to run around with a rag and dust and clean, and he loves to clean his high chair after he’s done eating. It’s so cute! I’ll lift him down and the first thing he does is to take a rag and clean off his chair. He’s mommy’s little helper.

How have you changed since having Max?
My whole goal in life is to better myself as a person. One thing I’ve learned is patience. Having a child is a real eye-opener. It also gives you a new sense of beauty, because you feel more centered. I feel a deeper sense of happiness. And it’s funny, I get more done now! I know there’s a limited amount of time for everything now, and that really motivates me to cram as much in as I can in the amount of time I have. It’s made me balance and schedule things better. On her next album and musical background: “I started singing because of Celine Dion. I couldn’t stop singing her songs, so I became a singer. Also I adore Christina Aguilera and I listened to her album, Stripped. I thought, ‘She is this insane person,’ but I love her sound. I want to discover my style and when people hear it, I want them to know that it’s me. For the next record, I plan to write songs based on my experiences.”
