Simon Cowell thinks just because some singers are talentless, superstar wannabes not worthy to compete on “X-Factor” … it does not mean they wouldn’t be perfect for … “The Voice.” OH SNAP!

Sources who attended the Austin “X-Factor” auditions tell TMZ … Simon and L.A. Reidcame up with the brilliant idea to mess with the NBC show by convincing bad singers to audition for “The Voice” instead.

L.A. Reid was overheard on set telling one such wannabe, “If you decide to try out again, please do it on another show.”  To which Simon added, “Yes, the good news is I hear ‘The Voice’ auditions are happening next week.”

Good one guys.

What a a-hole!

All the coaches, not just her own, have Erin’s respect. “Adam [Levine] I saw at Blake’s, and he was super nice to me. It was my birthday when I saw him, and he came up behind me and tapped me on the shoulder. It’s frickin’ Adam Levine and he’s like, ‘Happy birthday.’

“I also saw Christina [Aguilera] when we were at the wrap party [and] she was just so cool. I wish that people could see how genuinely sweet she really is when the pressure and the lights aren’t on. And even Cee Lo [Green], he was always so cool with us.

“They are such great people, and that’s the frustrating thing about celebrity and all the things you have to deal with when you’re thrust into the spotlight. At the end of the day, these people are just people, and that’s what I tried to prove when I was on the show. I’m just a normal person.”

Most Undeniable Presence: Christina’s Cleavage

There was one thing that Christina Aguilera made resoundingly clear during this season of The Voice. Well, two things, actually: her boobs. While contestants on the show sometimes outfitted themselves in racy garments, no necklines plunged the way that Xtina’s consistently did. By the last episode, if you weren’t intimately familiar with her experiments in upper, inner, and side cleavage, than you must have been watching a different show altogether.

Best Burn: Christina Aguilera Calls Adam Levine ‘A Justin Timberlake Wannabe’

Xtina really leaned into her role as antagonist on this season of The Voice, and it was kind of the best. Whether you agreed with her or not (and I frequently did not), her smack-talking always made for good TV. On the second episode, she cemented a feud with Adam that continued throughout the season, by calling him a wannabe JT. Adam must have rejoiced, however, at the best unintentional burn of the season, when fully grown adult, Jonathus, tells Xtina he’s had a crush on her since the fifth grade. Ouch!

The NBC competition jumped 16 percent, dominating Tuesday night with its two-hour coronation, while Fox’s Zooey Deschanel comedy rose 27 percent.

NBC brought home a healthy victory Tuesday night, with the two-hour season finale of The Voice topping all other broadcasts among adults 18-to-49. Fast affiliate ratings gave the crowning of winner Jermaine Paul a 4.3 rating in the coveted demographic, a 16 percent jump from last summer’s one-hour finale and the series’ best performance since March 25.

What an amazing finale. So proud of everyone and so happy for Jermaine. For tonight’s finale I wanted to take a play on the classic tuxedo. It was a great way to end the season.

For the season finale we wanted some classic Xtina glamour….smokey eyes and red lips.

I lined her eyes with Covergirl liquiline blast eyeliner and blended a gunmetal Make up for ever Aquacream under her lashline and onto her lids up into the crease. I applied two sets of Ardell “wispies” lashes and coated them with Covergirl 24 hour mascara.

I lined her lips with a CoverGirl liner called “hot” and filled them in with Make Up for Ever Aquacream #8 and glossed them up with Dior Addict Ultra Gloss #856

Hair stylist Mark Townsend:
For the finale of The Voice, Christina wanted to go for Rock N Roll glamour with her hair and I LOVED her idea! I started her hair by applying a large dollop of Dove Style+Care Amplifier Mousse to damp hair and blowdried with a large round brush. When the hair was dry, I took 3 to 5 inch sections of hair and wrapped each section around a 1 1/2 inch curling iron but left the bottom 2 inches a little straighter. Next I sprayed Sally Hershberger Salon Texture Blast all over and scrunched with my hands to create a cool, second day texture

For the finale show, Christina wanted to go with a tuxedo, but have fun with it and make it her own. She wore a dolce and gabbana sequin tux jacket, with a white dolce and gabbana tuxedo shirt and Norma kamali omo studded shorts.

We accessorized with black fishnets, Christian Louboutin boots and loree Rodkin jewels.

Tony Lucca didn’t win season two of The Voice – Jermaine Paul did — but the finalist did walk away from the NBC singing competition on better terms with Christina Aguilera.

After a whole season of catty back-and-forths between the former Mickey Mouse Club costars came to a head on Monday’s performance episode — Aguilera charged that Lucca’s cover of Jay-Z’s “99 Problems” was “derogatory to women” — the 31-year-old pop star was seen whispering apologetically to Lucca towards the end of Tuesday’s show.

“She just wanted to clear the air a bit,” Lucca, 36, explained to Us Weekly of the private chat. The “Dirrrty” singer “apologize[d] that this became much more of a dramatic thing than she ever intended it.”

Lucca (who called Aguilera “pathetic” backstage on Monday’s show) responded in kind.

“I said to her, ‘I hope that we can be cool moving forward,’” he told Us. “I take pride in the fact that my whole career has been a career of integrity, and sound relationships.”

Although Aguilera initially didn’t recall Lucca from their days as Mouseketeers, not all of Lucca’s costars had the same amnesia. “I take pride in the fact that Justin [Timberlake] and JC [Chasez] and people will go to bat for me. Because of that integrity, I would hate to think that through this whole course that [Christina] and I would both suffer on the backside,” Lucca mused. “So, you know, water under the bridge.”

And Lucca does not blame Aguilera’s harsh criticisms for his loss on the show — but wondered whether their feuding turned voters off.

“Her criticism for the most part has inspired me and led me to a higher plane than I might not have found otherwise,” he surmised to Us. “I’ve tried to turn that all into positive and use it for creative inspiration but I don’t know . . . maybe this is America’s way of saying that they don’t want to reward this sort of petty back-and-forth kind of thing.”
