I am very glad, that Christina Aguilera succeeded to find a new way both to keep herself very busy and to earn a lot of money. Famous London jeweler Stephen Webster has developed a new jewelry collection and made Christina Aguilera its face.

We all know Stephen Webster as the designer of the $114,000 engagement ring (namely for Christina). His new collection of jewelry is made from sterling silver and gold with such stones as jade, agate, goldstone, chalcedony and hematite).

The first collection is named “Shattered” (main source of inspiration – Gothic church windows), and we can already share with you info about the second (!!!) called “Superstud” (was inspired by punks and their life), we will see it next month (prices between $343 and $3,528)

According to Webster, Christina Aguilera is and always has been one of his main clients, what is more, she is so glamorous now and can be regarded his main inspiration. “She was a real coup for us,” says Webster.

WFP: Port-au-Prince, Haiti – World Food Programmes (WFP) new goodwill ambassador Christina Aguilera participated in school feeding programmes in quake-stricken Haiti last week.

Together with her husband Jordan Bratman, the singer toured with WFP aid workers and spent time with mothers and children who have found refuge in camps after the January earthquake.

She visited schools to meet the children receiving food aid through WFP school meal programmes.

Aguilera, who was in Haiti from 10 May, served meals of rice and beans to children at Ecole Lysee Fritz Pierre Louis in Port-au-Prince and Ecole Saint Terese de Darbonne in Leogane.

To see this, children with smiles on their faces and, you know, asking for seconds and just like normal children, being able to have these opportunities, you know, the funny thing is, you know, food it should never be a luxury.

According to WFP, school meals are bringing Haitian children back to the classroom and helping to restore a sense of normality after the trauma of the earthquake.

Since the earthquake, WFP has reached more than 449,000 children through school feeding and more than 137,000 malnourished children and pregnant and lactating mothers through supplementary feeding activities.

The world-famous singer helped serve meals of rice and beans to children at the Ecole Lysee Fritz Pierre Louis in Port-au-Prince and at the Ecole Saint Terese de Darbonne, in Leogane, a badly damaged town south of the capital.

Aguilera met with WFP Executive Director Josette Sheeran while in Haiti to discuss the hunger response after the earthquake. WFP’s operation in the Caribbean nation is shifting away from emergency relief to programmes such as school meals, nutrition schemes and food-for-work projects to help the national recovery effort.

During her time with children of Leogane, Aguilera also sang ‘Happy Birthday Haiti’ to highlight how reconstruction efforts in the country are giving this long-suffering nation the chance of a new start.

The singer’s appointment as a WFP Ambassador Against Hunger was announced last week during an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show.

“A child dies every six seconds of hunger which is a huge statistic for me,” Aguilera told Oprah Winfrey. “After having my own child I just had to be a part of it and do something about it and help change that situation.”

I spent yesterday meeting with Jordan Bratman about a new collection of jewellery we have just designed and made for Christina Aguilera to sell on her new website. The pieces are inspired by the story of Mr Waddington and how when he created the board game Monopoly, he needed some counters to move around the board. Finding nothing suitable around, he removed all of the charms from his wife’s bracelet which is why they are a strange collection of hats, shoes, an iron and a sports car etc.

The collection for Xtina is a charm necklace made up of charms representing different elements of her life; a gold disc, a microphone, a pair of lips and so on. I then went to the coolest store in LA; Maxfield to do a re-sort of our pieces and to talk about my upcoming event there on May 12th. (Tickets on application).

In the evening Christina, Jordan, Mick Jones (who was headlining Coachella on Sunday with the Gorillas), Miranda his wife, Banksy’s agent, Ron Burkle and a few others had a boozy dinner at Osteria Mozzo on Melrose. Then back to my home from home Chateau Marmont on Sunset. It was of course a late one and I woke to find an unfinished Martini next to my bed… I thought about it but decided 5.30 am was too early for a dry with a twist.

After the show I flew to LA and filmed a part for a VH1 show about Christina called ‘Behind the Music’. I’m such a camera tart, any chance I get I take it! I have been looking for a part in an online car insurance ad, after all Iggy Pop stole my alter ego puppet idea for his insurance ad’s!

Christina Aguilera looks cute in ripped jeans, checked shirt, cap and glasses – with splashes of red pulling the whole look together.

I hear the star will be lent some amazing STEPHEN WEBSTER jewels when she comes into London soon.

Stephen’s wife Assia tells me: “Christina can always borrow whatever she needs and we’re making her some bespoke pieces too.” Lucky weasel.

Christina Aguilera is already the face of Stephen Webster’s celeb-favored jewelry line — and rocks a 5-carat Webster wedding ring — now she’s also serving as the inspiration for the British jeweler’s diffusion line, which will retail for $25-$70 on Aguilera’s Web site starting March 2010.

“It’s by Stephen Webster but it’s Christina Aguilera-inspired,” Webster explained to StyleList during a visit to Neiman Marcus in San Francisco. “We’re making the collection now and it’s really for her fan base — for young people, not for my customers.”

“It’s got to fit in where Juicy Couture jewelry fits,” he told us, before elaborating on the design details.

“I took some iconic things about Christina and made it into jewelry. I did a really cool big chain with big lips and the part that goes through the lips is a rose. There’s a Christina charm bracelet and we did some things with her pets, some hats she’s worn and something burlesque-themed,” he said.

“I worked with my young team on it and they love the project. Christina’s never had anything like this and the only experience we’ve had is the mosquito ring we did.”

The mosquito ring he’s referring to is a $75 piece of costume jewelry Webster created for the charity Malaria No More UK. It’s a white gold-plated and faux diamond and ruby ring which was photographed numerous times on Victoria Beckham. Two shipments of 300 both sold out in a matter of hours on Asos.com this fall.

“If all of these things sort of work, I’d then think we are ready to do a collaboration,” Webster revealed, referring to a deal with a fast fashion retailer along the lines of H&M.

“But you have to have a real buzz around your brand with the people who shop at H&M and Target. Otherwise, it doesn’t always work with jewelry. You’ve got to have that frenzy.”

Here’s hoping his Aguilera line drums up the hype he’s waiting for. We have a feeling affordable Stephen Webster jewelry at a mass retailer would do just fine… um, now. (Hint, hint.)
