I’ve updated a low quality video of Christina behind the scenes of ‘Burlesque’ on ‘Entertainment Tonight‘. Hopefully a better version will surface soon.
Christina Aguilera and Nicole Richie celebrated their New Year’s Eve in style while visiting Las Vegas and ET has their New Year’s resolutions.
The ladies helped count down to 2010 at nightclubs Tao, located in the Venetian Hotel, and Lavo, located in the Palazzo Hotel.
Richie says her goals for this year are to “try to aim to be the best version of myself” and to “grow gracefully and watch my kids grow gracefully.”
As for Aguilera, she admits that she doesn’t make New Year’s resolutions but says she wants to be spontaneous about the upcoming year.
Ten years after unleashing her inner genie, original ‘Dirrty’ girl Christina Aguilera has settled into contented motherhood and early wake-up calls. But she hasn’t lost touch with her wild side. As she tells Maureen Paton, ‘I’m a night owl regardless’
Christina Aguilera’s bodyguard and driver are quietly playing pool along the corridor from the presidential suite of the Philippe Starck-designed SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, where the singer/songwriter awaits me on a white sofa in her latest incarnation as a peachy-skinned Hollywood goddess. Judging by the traffic-stopping ruby-red lipstick and the sprayed-on black velvet halterneck dress with the built-in balcony bra, I’m guessing that she’s already in character for her movie debut in the film Burlesque, which she’s about to start shooting.
Every waking moment, it seems, is accounted for by this shrewd operator, who has sold more than 37 million albums worldwide, won five Grammy Awards and long since proved that she’s Madonna’s natural heir when it comes to reinventing her femininity. Her friend and sometime collaborator Elton John even paid tribute to Christina’s focus by dubbing her an ‘old soul’ – and she’s still only 28. • Read full story…
After the jump, read our complete interview with Brown, where we chat about meeting Perez, Christina Aguilera’s rumored cover of one of her hits, and why she’s really grunge at heart.
FP: Ladytron is producing a cover of “My Delirium” that will appear on Christina Aguilera’s upcoming album. What are your thoughts on that?
PB: I actually don’t know anything about this, but people keep bringing it up. I think there’s a conspiracy!
You’ll be hearing more of Christina Aguilera’s voice on the radio soon, but it won’t be in the form of a song. Instead, the pop singer will work as a DJ.
Aguilera’s very own radio station is set to debut Friday. The 24-hour online channel will be distributed across Clear Channel Radio’s “iheartradio” network, and will feature interviews, news, personal commentary from Aguilera as well as her favorite tunes.
“It stands across so many different feels and genres from A Tribe Called Quest to the Beatles to Billie Holiday to Bjork to Black Sabbath, Jay-Z,” she said in a phone interview from Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The new radio venture, A.P.E. Radio (Artist Personal Experience), will also launch The Eagles’ own channel Friday, to be hosted by guitarist Joe Walsh. Weezer’s station is set to launch next month.
The radio station is not the only project she’s working on. Aguilera, a 28-year-old mother to a 1-year-old son, is also working on a new CD and has signed on to do a movie with Cher; both are due to be released next year.
The Associated Press: How does a radio channel fit you?
Aguilera: In the beginning when I make my CDs, I make inspiration record-CDs and I hand them out to all the producers that I am looking forward to working with. And I hand out these CDs and at the end of the day it’s funny because all the producers, or a lot of the producers, are like, “Wow, you should be a DJ.” It’s a really great mix of songs, and they’re so different and eclectic and that’s my style in general. • Read full story…
She’s known for her powerful pipes, ever-changing image and empowering anthems, like “Beautiful” and her most recent single, “Keeps Gettin’ Better.” But these days, Christina Aguilera, 28, is busy working on her most important project yet – being a mom to son Max Liron, 16 months, whom she and husband Jordan Bratman, 31, welcomed last year. Find out all about Max, how Christina’s changed since becoming a mom, her favorite thing to wear and more in these exclusive outtakes from her PEOPLE interview!
How’s the little guy? Does he say any words yet?
He’s absorbing everything like a sponge right now. We have to be cautious what we’re saying around him! He’s speaking a little Spanish too. He said mama and papa months ago.
Vacuum was one of his first words! He has a cleaning fetish and he loves to run around with a rag and dust and clean, and he loves to clean his high chair after he’s done eating. It’s so cute! I’ll lift him down and the first thing he does is to take a rag and clean off his chair. He’s mommy’s little helper. • Read full story…
