I have to admit I didn’t know what to expect when I pulled Christina Aguilera’s new fragrance out of the box.

But as soon as I spritzed the sensual notes of almond and vanilla it brought back lots of happy memories of clubbing holidays in Ibiza.

So even though the new £19 Christina Aguilera By Night, 30ml fragrance is new out this week it does include ingredients that were really popular in fragrances during the late nineties.

And as I can’t remember the fragrance that I was wearing then I’ll be spritzing this one for evenings out this autumn.

If you’ve seen this week’s rather excellent heat magazine, you’ll know that Christina Aguilera has a new perfume out, and a sexy new advert to promote it, obvs. But if pictures of Ms Aguilera looking seductive on the set of the shoot aren’t enough for you, then why not take a look at the actual advert itself? As you’d expect from Christina, the ad is quite a raunchy affair, with a swirly black pattern appearing on her naked body. But, does this ad make you want to smell just like Christina, or do you just think she smells?

‘By Night’ is set to release in the UK on September 23, 2009, thanks to SweetSurrender for the info.

Pop singer Christina Aguilera will launch Christina Aguilera By Night, her third fragrance under arrangements with Procter & Gamble, in September. The new scent for women is a flanker to her eponymous fragrance, Christina Aguilera, and is meant to be a sultry version for evening wear.

The fragrance notes include mandarin, freesia, rhubarb, peach blossom, pineapple, heliotrope, vanilla, moss and sandalwood.

Christina Aguilera By Night will be available in 15, 30 and 50 ml Eau de Parfum and in matching body products. I do not know if it will launch in the US, but I would be surprised if it did since the original Christina Aguilera scent did not. (via parfumerie.nl)
