The singing competition beat “Glee,” “NCIS” and “Dancing With the Stars” in the key demo — and gave NBC its highest time-slot rating in six years.

The second episode of NBC’s The Voice was up 10 percent Tuesday night.

It rated 5.6 in the key 18 to 49 demo with 12.4 million viewers — up from its premiere (which rated 5.1, 11.8 million) — beating Glee, NCIS and Dancing With the Stars. NBC scored its highest nonsports rating in the time slot since Nov. 29, 2005, winning the night.

CBS was second with a 4.6 rating in the demo. NCIS was down 10 percent to a season low, with a 3.5 rating and 17.3 million viewers. NCIS: Los Angeles was down 12 percent (2.9, 14 million), but The Good Wife was up 20 percent (2.4, 12.3 million), its highest rating since October.

Fox rated 2.6 and was third. Glee was up 6 percent (3.6, 8.6 million), Raising Hope was up 6 percent (1.9, 5 million), and Traffic Light was down 8 percent (1.2, 3˜ million).

ABC rated 2.2 and came in fourth. The first hour of Dancing With the Stars did a 1.8 (9.3 million) and the second hour, in which Kendra Wilkinson was voted off, rated 2.9 (15.6 million), down 19 percent from last week to a season low. Body of Proof was down 9 percent from last week (2.0, 10.4 million).

Univision came in fifth with a 1.5 rating, with Telemundo was sixth with a .8. The CW was in last spot with a .5.
