The star power of Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera (along with the power of NBC’s “The Voice”) was enough to propel their first collaboration, “Moves Like Jagger,” to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song moves up from #4 to #1 this week.

“Moves Like Jagger,” selling 217,000 copies this week, becomes the second #1 single for Maroon 5, and the fifth for Aguilera. “Moves Like Jagger” follows Maroon 5′s #1 “Makes Me Wonder” from 2007, while Christina earns her first #1 in 10 years after she was joined by female stars Pink, Mya, and Lil’ Kim for the Missy Elliott-produced “Lady Marmalade” back in 2001.

The former #1 “Party Rock Anthem,” from LMFAO with Lauren Bennett and GoonRock, holds at #2 this week, selling another 134,000 copies. Foster the People’s “Pumped Up Kicks” jumps up from #7 to a new peak of #3 this week, selling 194,000 copies.

Bad Meets Evil also sees a new peak this week, moving up from #6 to #4 with “Lighters,” featuring Bruno Mars. The song sells 128,000 copies this week. Katy Perry drops from #1 to #5 this week with “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.).”

Nicki Minaj drops one spot to #6 this week with “Super Bass,” while Lil Wayne moves up a spot this week to #7 with “How To Love.” OneRepublic is up one spot to #8 with “Good Life” this week, its highest position on the chart yet. Another former #1, “Give Me Everything” from Pitbull with Ne-Yo, Afrojack and Nayer, moves back into the top 10 this week, jumping up from #11 to #9 this week.

Meanwhile, Adam Levine sees his second entry in the top 10 with “Stereo Hearts,” his collaboration with Gym Class Heroes. The song jumps from #15 to #10 this week, earning Gym Class Heroes their second top 10, and Levine his fifth.
