I loved it…She did her thang..didn’t fall under the fumble, in fact except for a few nerds no one even noticed it.. Love how ppl watch to see what goes wrong in other ppl so they can get satisfaction out of it!!!

wow people are so insane,m she did a damn good job… she followed Lea and basically left you saying Glee girl who? she was the best performer of the night! She messed up one line, covered it up, never showed it on her face that something went wrong, and nailed the beginning and end

only puritans are very worried that she messed up the lyrics, she did a great job and she looked honored to be singing the Nation Anthem on the Superbowl. I’m not american but I think she did a great job covering it up and finding other words on the spot, it would have been a lot worse if she just shut up in the middle of it and plus any press is good press, so let them talk about it, when she comes back with a brand new album she’ll have a lot to talk about in the interviews and we’ll have so much fun watching her talk about all these steps lol

yesss!! totaly agree! i like this comment from u better! there will always be haters, ESPECIALLY when it comes to a talented artist like xtina. lol..she was probabaly just nervous, GOD! has this cold hearted world ever seen a human being before…no one is perfect! Besides, they asked xtina at eh last minute and she didn’t get enough rehearsal time so that’s THEIR fault. lol….i hate people. And yessss! All the haters have it coming when she kick butt with her 5th album!

Most Americans DONT know the words to the national anthem. No one had a fit Keri Hilson completely murdered the entire song at an NBA game!! Not only that Christina is one of the few ppl to sing it live everyone else has been lip singing or having back up music to cover up their mistakes…Say what they want but crucifying her for 2 words is not that serious. This country I swear the juvenile mentality makes me sick. I mean they are doing the national anthem before sporting events anyway!! There is no comparison of patriotism and a sport!!

I am italian and today I’ve read so much evil things from a lot of americans to another american (Christina) that I ask myself if they are really patriot. It seems that they don’t really care about the message of their national anthem but about criticize a performance. but your anthem doesn’t speak about freedom and heart? they made a poor figure.

you americans deal with your anthem in a different way we do in my country. I don’t remember watching a known singer intone a costumize version of our national anthem, but I guess it’s because it is quite agressive and masculine. Your national anthem is beautiful and I like that iniciative of letting artists sing it with a personal touch. Christina Aguilera has one of the most powerfull voices ever and listening to her was thrilling. She should have been more carefull, okay, but everyone fail a line or two once in a while, or, as some people said here before, there are those who don’t even know their national anthem. I guess it’s insignificant comparing to those who sing the american’s national anthem but are not american and don’t feel nothing at all.

The version that web master posted here is not good enough. I saw her performance. Wow her voice was just brilliant, strong. Whitney did it best but she lipped it. Christina sang LIVE LIVE everybody. Enjoy and feel with her feelings to America. Some American people are so dramatic … NO BODY IS PERFECT. And yes, Christina will be in the Grammy soon… I can’t wait
