Superstars including Rihanna, Katy Perry and Christina Aguilera will be performing on The X Factor this year, it has been confirmed. The three acts are among the list of upcoming stars to shamelessly plug sing on the results show as the live shows get under way.
Yesterday saw previous winner Joe McElderry return to the stage as well as US star Usher perform a melody of hits.
This weekend will see Katy Perry make a return after guest judging the Irish round of the auditions, she’s expected to sing her new single ‘Firework’. Meanwhile 2008 X Factor finalist Diana Vickers will also make an appearance, singing her latest song ‘My Wicked Heart’.
The following week will see X Factor judge Cheryl Cole take to the stage to perform her new track ‘Promise This’ liveish before the third elimination results are announced. It’s expected Cheryl will go head to head with Rihanna, who’s song ‘Only Girl In The World’ is out on the same week.
Christina Aguilera, Take That and JLS are also among the acts confirmed to perform on the show in the weeks to come, according to Radio 1.
