The weather’s cooling down, but some of the hottest fall movies haven’t even hit the theaters yet. From Natalie Portman’s turn as an unhinged ballerina to the beginning of the end of Harry Potter, here are 12 films you won’t want to miss.
‘Burlesque’
Burlesque will either be the next Chicago or the next Showgirls. Frankly, we’re fine with either. Christina Aguilera makes her acting debut as a wannabe burlesque singer in this musical which also stars Cher and musical theater vets Alan Cumming, Peter Gallagher, and Kristen Bell. Aguilera had nothing but raves for her co-star Cher, telling USA Today, “I love no-bull-(expletive) women, and she’s the best of the best. An original trendsetter in her time and a legend in mine. I found her kind and warm. She had helpful advice and stories for days.” (November 24).
