The other day we revealed Katy Perry’s latest release from her upcoming Teenage Dream album, “Circle The Drain.” Basically an ex-boyfriend dis track, it’s got more rock than the pop songs — like “California Gurls” we’ve heard from Teenage Dream.
Well not only does it sound different than her other tracks, but it looks different. Above is the artwork for “Circle The Drain,” which eschews the bright, summery colors of all the promo visuals we’ve seen from Katy thus far, replacing it with a stark, all-black leather-everything look…… A look which we couldn’t help but notice has shares a couple of the same qualities with Christina Aguilera’s artwork for “Not Myself Tonight” (above left).
Their music couldn’t sound more different these days, but we do find it interesting to see Katy rocking the disco dominatrix look so hard.
