Christina Aguilera jetted off to Hawaii today, just one day after announcing her divorce from Jordan Bratman.
According to Life & Style, Aguilera decided to get out of town for a few days and will be staying at the luxurious Edition, Ian Schrager’s new hotel in Waikiki.
“She wanted to get away,” a source tells Life & Style.
“Christina landed late last and is traveling with her producer, Tricky Stewart,” says the source. “She has a packed weekend ahead of her, including yoga, surfing lessons, hikes, lunches, VIP dinners and cocktail parties.”
This comes just days after Christina announced she was splitting up from her husband. She was last seen in public taking, Max, her son with Jordan, pumpkin-picking in West Hollywood yesterday.
No word on whether Max is accompanying his mother on her vacation. We can totally understand why she’d want to get out of town—paparazzi have been all over her the last few days.
This will probably be the last time Christina can relax for awhile—Burlesque comes out on November 16 and we’re sure she has a ton of promoting to do for it!
