It’s a seductive time for Christina Aguilera. Not only is the new Queen of Pop suddenly a single girl again and about to enter her 30s (when they say a woman hits her sexual prime), she also has a hot new movie, Burlesque, coming out. Luckily for fans, she’s spreading the sex appeal around, releasing two sensual new fragrances: Christina Aguilera and Christina Aguilera By Night. Here, Christina tells OK! about the scents, and her life as an artist and mom.

What was the inspiration behind your fragrances?
My new album, Bionic, coincides with the fact that after a decade of work I felt accomplished and like I wanted to take on a sort of pop royalty feel with the costumes I’ve been wearing. I wanted to incorporate [that] within the fragrance; giving a little bit of that royal feel. I think every woman needs to feel pampered and be adored and worshipped.

Do your fragrances reflect your personality?
By Night reflects the fact that I am a night owl and I feel my sexiest when it’s night. It’s the moment when everything shuts down, shuts off, and you are not harassed by a zillion phone calls, work e-mails and things like that. It’s a sexier time where things just get darker. I love mood lighting, candles and creating an ambiance. So I love the nighttime, when I can relax and feel extra special.

How do you pamper yourself?
It’s really important for me to take time out — mommy time — and write in my journal. Making collages really relaxes me, too. Bubble baths, massages — those are the things I do for my “me time.”

How has being a mom to 2-year-old Max changed your style?
I have more confidence in my sexuality — it has a more sophisticated tone. Sexuality has always been a part of what I do, but having a child has changed me in so many ways. I have my body back, but in a completely different way. It was an eye-opening and rewarding experience for me.

After a four-year break from music to have Max and do Burlesque, how was it to come back?
Being my character so long in [Burlesque] was a little restricting and confining. In music I’m not used to doing that. I’m used to constantly expressing myself. By the time “Not Myself Tonight” came out, I was just ready to come out of my cage.

How does acting compare to music?
With music, I’m able to express all my emotions. It’s therapeutic. As an actress, my character had a different story, but I went to places of my own past, places you really don’t want to go on a regular basis. It was a challenge, but it was also a dream.

You’re an icon. Who do you admire?
[I really admire] Rihanna. She exudes a confidence and is not afraid to be tough. She gives off a take-charge persona and I find that sexy.
