Christina Aguilera Tour postponed? « Xtina-Web.com Xtina-Web.com

Christina Aguilera, who was set to tour in support of her highly anticipated new album “Bionic” alongside Leona Lewis, has pushed back the tour a year.

In a statement from Live Nation, Aguilera announced the summer tour has been moved to 2011 due to prior commitments she had to make for promoting the album, set to hit stores June 4 and her upcoming film debut, “Burlesque,” which is slated for a November release and co-stars Cher.

“The singer felt she needed more time to rehearse the show and with less than a month between the album release and tour date this wasn’t possible,” the statement read.

New dates will be announced later this year.
Refunds for tickets to Aguilera’s Aug. 19 show at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine are available at point of purchase.

Aguilera is slated to perform at the MTV Movie Awards on June 6.

Christina Has only cancelled the last two shows of the tour. mountain view and irvine, california are cancelled according to ticketmaster.

It has to do with low ticket sales and Bad reviews almost if not all her songs have already been leaked and people are just not liking what they are hearing.

people pleople why do u always asume the worst please use your brain you have a movie to promote and you have a cd to premote you have
given your self 8 week to put a concert together use your brains thats alot of work and xtina tours are not small prouductions im happy because there wil be time to hear some songs from burlesque and hopefull she will put them in her tour trust me fans it will be worth the wait and as well the media are fucked as soon as someone cancel something they say poor ticket sales they said that when gaga came to australia and the she moved to a bigger venue and a mSG TO ALL THE FAN STOP BEING SO NEGETIVE and asumming the worst
