Christina Aguilera is hitting the big screen for the first time this fall in “Burlesque,” and the full-length trailer for the Screen Gems drama popped up on the Web today. The film finds Aguilera playing Alice, a small-town girl with hopes of becoming a famous dancer, as well as Cher taking on a motherly role.

“When you’re putting on your make-up it’s like you’re an artist, but instead of painting a canvas, you’re painting your face,” Cher wisely tells Aguilera in one of the scenes. The legendary diva co-stars as the burlesque club owner Aguilera wants to work for. The initially shy Alice has a hard time proving she belongs on stage, but once X-tina shows off those pipes, it’s officially show time.

“Burlesque,” which also stars Stanley Tucci, Kristen Bell and Peter Gallagher, is set to hit theaters Nov. 24.
