Singer turned actress Christina Aguilera opened up to “Extra’s” Lauren Sanchez about starring opposite Cher in the new film “Burlesque” — and what advice Cher had for her about life and love.
Christina, currently going through a divorce with Jordan Bratman, said she received words of wisdom from her been-there-done-that co-star.
“We had crazy girl talk about love and life, and she talked about her ex-husbands, and it was a really good girl moment, she exceeded any and all expectations,” said Christina, who will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday.
Making her acting debut in “Burlesque,” Aguilera said she “approached everything with a really vulnerable sensibility.” When asked the best part of making her first film, Christina replied, “There’s so many things… the best part is being able to sit back and watch it and be proud of what you did.”
“Burlesque” hits theaters November 24.
