BFFs Nicole, Christina, and Samantha went on an all-girl trip to Mexico just three weeks ago — did the tequila sunrise turn the lights out on Xtina’s marriage to Jordan Bratman?

Oh no! Christina Aguilera’s wild, girls only vacation with her friends Nicole Richie and Samantha Ronson to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico last month may have precipitated the breakup of her marriage to Jordan Bratman. “There were already problems between her and her husband,” a source tells the New York Post. “But things got worse after her wild girls’ trip!”

The source also claims that Christina, 29, and Jordan, 33, barely spent any time together while she was on set filming the movie Burlesque.

Other insiders point out that the Christina and Jordan had been having problems for months. “They were very much in love,” an insider tells Us Weekly. “But over the last six months, it ­became clear they were more like friends than husband and wife.”

In order to try to fix things, Christina suggested that they travel to Italy in August. But obviously that didn’t work as the last time the couple was spotted together was on Sept. 22 grabbing dinner at Matsuhisa in Beverly Hills, CA.

As of now, the couple are separated and “are living apart,” a source adds. “They will see how that goes.”

“Although Jordan and I are separated, our commitment to our [2-year-old] son Max  remains as strong as ever,” the singer tells People magazine in a statement.
