The 38th annual American Music Awards will honor artists from pop and rock to hip-hop and soundtracks this year. The show will be telecast November 21 at 8:00 pm ET with red-carpet coverage before the show atUstream.tv/amas and ABC.com starting at 5:00 pm ET.
Eminem and Lady Antebellum lead with five nominations each. Young teen star Justin Bieber received four nominations, while Katy Perry, Ke$ha, B.o.B and Usher each have three nominations each.
The all-star line-up of performers includes Rihanna opening the show, as well as Christina Aguilera, Katy Perry, Kid Rock, Ke$ha, Bon Jovi, Black Eyed Peas, Diddy’s Dirty Money, Taylor Swift, and Ne-Yo. Also performing is NKOTBSB – New Kids on the Block together with the Backstreet Boys.
Viewers will vote for favorite nominees in categories including Pop/Rock, Country, Rap/Hip-Hop, Soul/R&B, Latin, Soundtracks to determine the winners.
